Jason Dixon is an Irish composer currently based in Norwich, England, where he is working on a PhD in Composition with Simon Waters at the University of East Anglia.&#13;
&#13;
Previous studies include a music degree and MA in Music Technology at Queen's University Belfast, where he specialised in composition with Professor Michael Alcorn and Professor Piers Hellawell. He has also been employed as a Studio Assistant at the School of Music and Sonic Arts at Queen's, mixing technical duties with teaching on the undergraduate music technology degree.&#13;
&#13;
Jason is a keen improviser, circuit-bender and SuperCollider enthusiast. He is a member of the Belfast Legion for Improvised Sights and Sounds (BLISS), but has also been known to perform as primitiveFailed (with Henry Vega) and JDTJDJ (with Tom Davis). He has a weird obsession with mutants.</description>
